Meet lisA fRosT

Lisa has art in her name and in her heart and she shows us ways to “frost” our homes and busy lives with creativity and meaning. She is passionate about spreading cheer throughout the land by utilizing her LOVE for life, art, family, teaching, and community! Lisa draws upon her roots as an art teacher to promote a creative lifestyle through projects, home décor, creative outfits, artful food and inspiration. Lisa Frost also wants to share stories of her personal journey through her paintings. At the end of the day, she believes in empowering others to add a little color to everyday life through the colorful expression!

Lisa Frost has been painting and creating her whole life. She earned a degree in Art Education. Her early career was spent as a public school art teacher. During that time she was awarded the “Teacher of the Year” award from 21st Century Magazine. In 2000, she took a leap of faith and left her position as an art teacher to build her business. She dreamed and created pieces for holiday, home and kids and the lisA fRosT studio was born. Over the years Lisa has developed many beautiful collections. She has employed college art interns with the hopes that one day they will become artists too. She has created a unique lifestyle and recruited loyal followers who help her on her mission to spread cheer throughout the land. A few years ago, the local Chamber of Commerce voted her as one of the top “Forty Leaders Under Forty”.

In 2009, Lisa Frost went global with her artistic pieces and partnered with Silvestri by Demdaco. The lisA fRosT Collection is now found in retail gift stores throughout the world!

Lisa Frost is currently a regular guest on the local CBS television station, and morning talk radio station where she demonstrates creative ways to decorate, entertain and craft projects for the seasons. Additionally, she inspires us to give back to our communities. Each year she produces the “Frost & Friends” holiday event in her community. It features and supports artists. Over the years, “Frost & Friends” as funded 57 art-related scholarships to high school art students. In 2010, Lisa Frost became a belle of her own community and was nominated as “Woman of the Year” by RW Magazine. In 2011, she was awarded “Alumni of the Year” award from Northern Illinois University.
