Introducing the Frostette’s. Young, artistic, creative, and passionate interns of the lisA fRosT studio. They help in the studio with jobs like assembling, stretching canvas, cutting, varnishing, glittering, pinning, packaging, etc.
Allyson Miller started working in the studio in 2008…and she still comes back when I need her (pictured above Spring 2016). Talented and organized she is a highly regarded asset around here. Allyson holds a degree in Photography from Northern Illinois University.
Jeannette Luttrell came on board in the Frost studio Jan of 2016. She is a graduate of Rockford University. She has a developed background in art and is a natural craftsman. She is totally dependable and quick witted.
Delaney Apppino and Megan Peterson worked with me the Summer of 2015. And Megan the Summer of 2016. They came highly recommended from their High School Art Teacher. I completely understand why.
Audrey Gilfillan started with me in the Fall of 2013 and finished in the Spring of 2015. She is an extremely talented artist and an old soul. She loves to paint…and OILS are her favorite medium. She is smart, quiet, kind and really creative at everything. She loves poetry and never gets scared at horror movies. She currently resides in Northern California.
Sara Briseno (left) graduated from Rock Valley College in the spring of 2013 and completed her degree at Northern Illinois University with a degree in social work. She was a Frostette from 2011-2013. She currently resides in Chicago, IL.

Meet Elizabeth Horvath. She was a Frostette from Jan 2013- Nov 2014. She is an art student at UW Milwaukee pursuing a degree in Art Education. She has won many awards in her work with ceramics. She has a disciplined eye for the details. She says it is hereditary and calls in the “Horvath eye”. Izzie is a wild flower…loves birds, fishing, nature and basically anything in the outdoors.
This is Kelsey Gugliuzza. She was a Frostette from the summer of 2012-Fall of 2013. She is pursuing her art degree at the Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design. She has dreams of working in animation. I call her the “little Michelangelo”.
On Aug 19, 2013, Kelsey came to the studio with this in hand. A portrait of my daughters. Not in a hundred years will she know how much it means to me. I can’t wait to follow her star as she starts her path into an artistic life. Best Wishes Kelsey!
